John was born and raised in Newfoundland, and frequently returns to visit old friends and family. He moved to Ottawa in 1989, and currently resides in the South End, with his wife Marnie, and sons Dylan and Billy.

An active member of the community, John manages a South End Minor Hockey Team, volunteers at Holy Family Elementary School, and has been a member of the board of directors for his condominium corporation for 7 years. John is also a proud supporter of Scientists in Schools. He provides volunteer hours and financial support to enable schools in the community to bring higher level science demonstrations into the classrooms.

John and his family live an active life enjoying many activities such as camping, mountain biking, hiking and walking their dog Patty through the Arboretum. In 2000 John set a goal to run the Ottawa Marathon, he has since completed 3 full marathons.

A Real Estate Professional since 2004, John has already achieved several sales awards. In 2006 John was awarded with the Master Sales, and in 2007 John was presented with the President's Gold Award. John brings a tremendous amount of work ethic and a high level of integrity to each and every client.
