JOHN DONOVAN

John is a native Newfoundlander, born and raised in St. John’s before making Ottawa his home in 1989. After many years and success in sales and marketing, John made the transition to real estate in 2004 when he joined Royal Lepage Performance and formed JohnDonovanProperties.com. John was joined by his wife Marnie in 2008 and Danielle Laflamme in 2010 and together JohnDonovanProperties.com has become a top sales team within Ottawa, achieving the Emerald Sales Award for 2018 and the top 2% sales for the region. Continuously focused on knowledge and customer service, John consistently upgrades office systems to support buyers and sellers as well as training to best educate his clients, thereby enabling them to make prudent real estate decisions. John is a well respected negotiator in the field and recently achieved the designation of Master Certified Negotiation Expert. John believes strongly in giving back to his community and serves as a committee member for Motionball Ottawa which uses sport to raise money and awareness for Special Olympics athletes. John values personal health and fitness. When not working in real estate you will find him working out at Crossfit NCR or kitesurfing the Ottawa River. |
MARNIE DONOVAN

Marnie began her business career at an early age when in 1987 she partnered with her sister to open a Second Cup coffee franchise in the Herongate Mall in Ottawa. Marnie has spent her entire adult life in sales and marketing and brought her personable business expertise when she joined her husband John in 2008 to form JohnDonovanProperties.com. Together they have run a successful real estate office, achieving top 2% sales for the Ottawa area and garnering the Royal Lepage Emerald Sales award for 2018. There are numerous decisions to be made when buying or selling a home and Marnie is committed to providing the best level of service to her clients. She strives to ensure that her clients are well-informed throughout the process thus enabling them to make the best possible decision for their real estate needs. Marnie’s focus on health and wellness plays a key role in the reassuring demeanour she brings to her clients. In her spare time Marnie is an active volunteer, enjoys yoga, having completed her 200 Hour Yoga Teaching Training and she is a member of Ottawa’s Crossfit community. Marnie loves to travel and spend quality time with her family. |

Danielle was raised in the Alta Vista area of Ottawa within a close-knit, entrepreneurial family which shaped her strong business sense from an early age. Danielle now resides in Greely with her two boys and husband. Danielle graduated from University of Ottawa with a degree in Criminology and Sociology and she served the community as a social worker for many years. In 2010 she was drawn to the business world and transitioned into real estate by joining Royal Lepage Performance and the John Donovan Properties Team.
